About us

We started Studio Sweat with a simple idea: wellness should fit seamlessly into your life. Whether you come to sweat, to chill, or to find a moment of stillness, our space is here to help you feel your best — one session at a time.

Where it all started

Studio Sweat began with two friends, Rach and Brax — young women and business partners brought together by a shared love of wellness and holistic healing. Each discovered the benefits of infrared sauna and contrast therapy in their own way, finding relief, resilience, and clarity through the practice. Wanting to extend that same healing to others, they created Studio Sweat: a space where community, ritual, and wellbeing come together.

  • Traditional saunas heat the air around you, creating a high external temperature that makes you sweat. Infrared saunas work differently — they use light to gently heat your body from within. This creates a deep, detoxifying sweat at a lower temperature, making the experience more comfortable and accessible while still delivering powerful health benefits.

  • Infrared therapy can support muscle recovery, improve circulation, reduce inflammation, and promote deep relaxation. Many people also find it helps with stress relief, clearer skin, and better sleep. The gentle heat allows you to sweat deeply while keeping the session comfortable and restorative.

  • Contrast therapy combines the heat of the sauna with the chill of an ice bath. Moving between hot and cold boosts circulation, reduces muscle soreness, supports immunity, and leaves you with an invigorating rush of endorphins. It’s an ancient practice with modern benefits — helping the body reset and the mind feel clearer and more energised.

  • Yes — our saunas are full spectrum, offering near, mid, and far infrared wavelengths. Each wavelength penetrates the body at different depths, providing a wide range of benefits from skin health and detoxification through to pain relief, circulation, and recovery.

  • Chromotherapy, or colour light therapy, uses the vibrational frequencies of different colours to support balance and wellbeing. Each colour carries unique healing properties — from calming the mind to energising the body — and when paired with infrared heat, the effect can be both restorative and uplifting.

  • Many clients feel the benefits after just one session — whether that’s a better night’s sleep, improved mood, or a sense of deep relaxation. For longer-term results, such as enhanced recovery, skin health, and overall resilience, we recommend making sauna or contrast therapy a regular ritual, ideally 2–3 times per week.
